Who better to take on role as oddball muse for the one and only Mr. Marc Jacobs' upcoming fall/winter collection, than eccentric and always outré actress, Helena Bonham Carter? Under direction of mastermind photographer, Juergen Teller, the collection's fall ad campaign reeks just the right amount of bizarre character.
In two newly surfaced pictures from the upcoming fall ads, the 45-year-old actress who rarely (if ever...) is spotted on the "Best Dressed List", and instead does exactly what most actresses get trashed for doing at events like the Golden Globes— displaying her quirky personality — sits dog-like on her knees, panting, tongue out.
The second photo released, Bonham-Carter stands eyes-half closed, rocking awesome auburn hair, looking sick and weary with what seems like the measles, and wearing a rather bloated, black polka dot and tweed patterned puffy jacket from the fall collection.
I'm thrilled with Marc Jacobs' decision to use Helena for his asylum-inspired collection.
What do you think? Think these ads are good for promoting a clothing collection like Marc Jacobs’?
